Fluorophlogopite mica belongs to the silicate class of artificial mica crystal. It melts in a high temperature environment of 1500 ℃. Because of its excellent insulation performance, in 2007, the 13th Institute of Shijiazhuang of CLP Group in China for Shenzhou VIII spacecraft to make insulation sheets, which replaces natural mica.

Fluorophlogopite mica belongs to the silicate class of artificial mica crystal. It melts at high temperatures.  Because it is an ideal electrical insulation material in the field of high-end technology and its excellent insulation property, fluorophlogopite mica has been selected by the 13th Institute of Shijiazhuang of CLP Group in China for Shenzhou VIII spacecraft to make insulation sheets in 2007.

Because the fluorophlogopite mica is grown under strict process conditions and material ratio (otherwise mica crystals cannot be generated), its texture is very pure. So its insulation performance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high frequency resistance performance are very excellent. The electrical insulation performance of fluorophlogopite mica is about 1000 times higher than that of natural mica; the electrical breakdown strength is 10 times higher than that of PTFE . And fluorophlogopite mica can be used in 1100℃ environment for a long time. Its stability of hot and cold sharp changes is also very good. The ten cycle-test results are all qualified which was done under -40℃ to -70 ℃ by five Saibao laboratories in Guangzhou China. And because of its pure texture, all parameters are very stable. Fluorophlogopite mica is an ideal insulation material for high-end fields.

Natural mica is naturally formed underground mineral, which contains impurities and its electrical property is not stable. Because of containing hydroxyl (OH) ˉ, above 200℃ natural mica begins to have weightlessness trend and gradually layers, or discolours, even sheds. When the temperature is higher than 450℃, it begins to melt and the thickness expands. When the temperature is 600℃ above , natural mica will be sharp weightless. Nearly at about 900℃,it almost completely melts. The commonly used insulating material PTFE, due to its poor temperature resistance, can only be used in low temperature environment, and its production is prone to produce metal impurities, while its corona is not good. The electrical insulation properties of natural mica and polytetrafluoroethylene are incomparable to those of fluorophlogopite mica.

Our company sincerely welcomes friends from all over the world to visit, we hope you will understand and use our fluorophlogopite mica . Our company can provide free trial products for researchers in the high-tech field.
